Position Announcement: Signage Installation Technician

RS Industrial Arts collaborates with Architects, Design Firms, General Contractors, and other industry front-runners to plan, build, and implement custom architectural signage, environmental graphics, and branding solutions for a wide variety of projects that include interior and exterior building graphics, site and parking garage signage as well as custom architectural elements, specialized landscape features, and unique sculpture.

We are currently seeking to add an INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN to our team.

The successful candidate will:

Install various types of signage to include: ADA and Code Signage, Dimensional Lettering, Illuminated Channel Letters, Illuminated and Non-Illuminated Monuments as well as Vinyl Graphics & Films, and Digitally Printed Graphics in both Interior and Exterior Conditions. The candidate will work closely with the Installation Manager and other departments to ensure accurate scheduling, timely execution, and quality installation of all projects.

and possess:

experience using a variety of tools and equipment including: tape measures, levels, drills, saws, etc…

experience with low-voltage LED lighting and electrical applications, wiring and troubleshooting.

ability to read and understand Fabrication and Architectural Drawings.

an understanding of fabrication and manufacturing methods utilized in the production of signage.

at least 2 years of experience with a signage manufacturer or similar trade.

Other valued skills and experience:

basic computer skills

basic knowledge of Welding, Carpentry, and Masonry

experience operating or working around Crane Trucks

Vinyl Application Certification

experience with CorelDraw, FlexiSign

experience operating Vinyl Plotters and other Graphics Production Equipment.

The position may require evening and weekend hours as well as out-of-town travel.

This is a full-time position and is benefits eligible after 90-days

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
