Job Description: We are looking to hire a dedicated and observant flagger/Vegetation control Technician to monitor the flow of traffic around the job site . This person will be trained in traffic control to ensure efficiency and safety of the movement of vehicles around the job site. Assisting with cleaning the job site. Performs vegetation management and associated maintenance tasks such as line trimming, small brushing with hedgers, loppers or chainsaws, limb trimming with pole saws, loading and unloading trailers, raking of leaves and debris, trash and debris removal. Safely utilizes small vegetation management tools and equipment such as line trimmers, hedgers, pole saws, and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks. Other related vegetation and maintenance tasks at an equivalent level

Job Requirements: Work is performed in an outdoor environment on a year-round basis with frequent performance of manual labor, standing for long periods of time, and frequent bending, hiking, squatting, and manual dexterity to handle objects, tools, or controls. Job sites, many of which are remote, include uneven ground, steep slopes, exposure to extreme weather conditions and poisonous plants and snakes. Potentially hazardous physical conditions such as mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, and chemical exposure may exist.

• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
• Must pass ATSSA Flagger course
• Dependability and good work ethics.
• Operates as part of a crew with supporting Climber.
• Responsible to assist in the proper maintenance, preparation and operation of all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws and chippers.

All personnel must pass their background check as well as a drug check in order to be hired and to remain on the job. Regular and random drug and alcohol tests will be administered throughout employment. All personnel must provide their own good condition steel toe lace-up safety boots and must arrive with a valid driver’s license or sufficient identification to satisfy the requirement of form I-9. All personnel must be reasonably proficient in the English language.'
