This role provides a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in Project Management, IT Commodity knowledge, IT Asset Management, and Procurement methodologies using industry-leading tools.

As a Procurement Support Intern, you'll play a crucial role in managing software and hardware procurement, ensuring data integrity, and supporting hardware asset management processes. This hands-on experience will allow you to update software assets, maintain documentation, and collaborate with the IT buyer team to identify more efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Daily management of software and/or hardware procurement and recordkeeping to ensure data integrity.
• Support hardware asset management daily processes and aid in data cleanup effort.
• Update software assets with supplier records, service level agreements, and software license information in ServiceNow.
• Maintain documentation relating to the software asset management process and procedures. Track data for locations, assets and licenses; as well as linking contract data to software. Partner with the IT buyer team to map processes and to identify alternate, more efficient, solutions.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required; both verbal and written.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Familiarity with Google (Gmail, Docs, Sites, Groups) and ServiceNow is preferred.
• Must be flexible and exercise a high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks. We are seeking an individual who can work independently and/or collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $20.00 / hour.
