WAREHOUSE MANAGER

EXPEREINCED IN DISTILLERY, WINE & SPIRITS OR BOTTLING environment is a perfect fit for our WAREHOUSE MANAGER. You will oversee all incoming & outgoing shipments, inventory of all finished goods, as well as the equipment used to move & store goods. Supervising staff, training, hiring, discipline, scheduling & safety programs.

Responsibilities:

· Plan & oversee inbound & outbound logistics, including warehouse inventory, storage & transportation of finished & dry goods.

· Communicates with customers, suppliers, client relations & production department to schedule receipts & shipments, provide accurate inventory reports, supply materials for bottling, properly store materials & goods.

· Ensure accurate, daily input of receipts & shipments in system, online production & inventory reporting systems.

· Plan & allocate resources for warehouse picking & shipping processes to ensure daily shipments are picked & shipped promptly following customers’ requirements.

· Confer with unit heads to ensure warehouse activities harmonize with that of other functions such as production, maintenance & purchasing.

· Provide support to operation processes, including inspection, receiving & storage, material usage, order picking & inbound & outbound shipments, and the handling & disposition of material activities.

· Responsible for monitoring & upholding inventory accuracy through cycle count process, investigation of variances, & physical inventories

· Spot & understand the root cause of problems & execute countermeasures.

· Responsible for employee compliance to company policies, SOPs, & production procedures, including but not limited to safety, quality & attendance.

· Work with maintenance department to ensure equipment is in safe working order

· Ensure all areas of responsibilities are kept clean & organized.

· Ensure all recordkeeping procedures are followed with accuracy & timeliness.

· Look for opportunities for increased efficiency, cost-savings, safety improvements, employee improvement, quality improvement & continuous improvement.

· Manage inventory audits & work to reconcile any inventory discrepancies.

Requirements:

· 3 years minimum of Warehouse Management experience (preferably in distillery or food industry)

· Ability to train, coach & mentor warehouse associates

· Detailed organizational & prioritizing skills

· Ability to perform multiple tasks

· Make decisions, problem-solve, prioritize assignments & direct workforce in changing, warehouse environment

· Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint

· Excellent aptitude in estimating rates & adding & subtracting mentally while constantly multi-tasking

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, & conflict resolution skills

· Excellent organization skills & attention to detail

· Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

· Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

· Prioritize tasks & delegate when appropriate

· Act with integrity, professionalism & confidentiality

· Ability to walk & stand for extended periods of time

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs when needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per hour

Experience:

• Warehouse management: 3 years (Required)
• Inventory management: 3 years (Required)
• bottling, distillery or wine & spirits: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Muenster, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
