In operation since 2006, RPM has evolved into a multi-faceted company with several divisions: Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance; Tree Care Services; Sitework & Landscape Construction; Utility Support Systems; and Snow & Ice Management. Providing comprehensive property maintenance services on behalf of our residential, commercial, government and utility customers and contractors.

Currently, our service territory stretches from Southern NJ to Greater Philadelphia/Eastern PA.

The Landscape Project Manager will be responsible for Leading, Managing and Holding Accountable all field personnel across maintenance, construction, and tree care divisions. Ensuring the operations run smoothly and on-time, along with maintaining client satisfaction and providing quality services with cost effectiveness and efficiency in mind is a top priority. You will also support sales, asset management, and safety to ensure all areas of business are working together to maintain profitability and exceptional outcomes for our employees, customers, and vendors.

Candidates for the landscape project manager role should possess the following qualities:

· Experience in landscape and hardscape project management, construction documentation, permitting requirements, and plans to devise project execution strategy (including work process for crew and determination of materials/supplies/tools/equipment required from project sale to completion)

· Excellent leadership and management skills

· Passion for and/or experience in horticulture

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrate technical skills, an attention to detail, and problem-solving ability

· Personable, hardworking, and fun, because our team spends a lot of time together

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment

· Courteous, client-centric demeanor

· Team-oriented mentality

· Proficiency leveraging technology/software (e.g., LMN, Sitefotos, Fleetio, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp)

· An interest in career development and growth (through coaching/training), and with whom our core values will resonate professionalism, quality, teamwork, relationships and integrity

· Demonstrated ability and knowledge of landscaping/grounds maintenance service management as well as relevant equipment and chemicals and their applications

· Valid driver’s license and DOT physical certification

· Authorized to work in the US

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Plan, organize, and supervise all aspects of assigned projects

· Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans

· Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project deliverables are met

· Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion

· Conduct regular meetings with team members to provide updates and address any issues or concerns

· Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports

· Coordinate sales efforts with those in other divisions to increase market share; assist in goal setting and planning

· Prospect for new business, developing relationships with subcontractors, property managers, commercial developers and others

· Plans and maintains adequate cold and warm calls/leads to cover the market

· Prepares and presents proposals in a complete and professional manner, according to company standards

· Follows-up on bids and offers solutions to clients

· Ensures all proposals are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to client

· Sells projects at approved prices to meet or exceed targeted profit margins

· Conduct site inspection and assessment with Crew Leaders to determine soil type, slope, drainage, exposure, and existing structures, features, roads and utilities that will affect project

· Directs all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications

· Involvement with hiring, training, and developing team members

· Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and the Gibson Grounds team members

· Completes all projects in the most time-efficient manner meeting the company productivity targets

· Routinely meets and communicates with clients by answering questions, providing updates, responding to client requests, and ensuring the client’s satisfaction throughout the project

· Completes the necessary paperwork including work orders, time sheets, purchase orders, and material purchase requests

· Conduct and lead regular site meetings throughout the lifespan of the project which include the inspection of the quality of work completed at specific milestones, keeping open communication with the team and helping to facilitate a smooth project process

· Plans and organizes the project, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available

· Briefs supervisors and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns

· Collaborates with Yard and Scheduling Manager to maintain assigned equipment and notifies management of needed repairs

· Create project evaluation reports to learn how to be more efficient during future projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
