Job Title: Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Hybrid Role)

Description: We are currently seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Technician (Hybrid Role) for an 8-week temporary assignment with potential for permanent hire in Plantation, FL. This position offers full-time hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The specialty clinic focuses on oncology pharmacy, with low volume and limited customer interaction. Candidates must have prior experience in a specialty pharmacy setting; retail background alone will not be considered. While the role is predominantly remote, candidates will be required onsite for PTO coverage. Local candidates only.
Job Duties:
- Complete prior authorizations
- Process pharmacy claims
- Coordinate medication dispensing and shipping
- Order medications, label prescriptions, and ensure proper verification
- Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and pharmacists
Pay: $20-22 per hour
Requirements:
- Clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of FL
- At least 2 years of specialty pharmacy experience
- Background in specialty oncology is a plus but not required
