Pharmacy Technician Claims Specialist
Location: Honolulu, HI
Position Type: Temporary (8 weeks from start of assignment)
Environment: Long-Term Care (LTC)
As a Pharmacy Technician Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving rejected pharmacy claims to ensure maximum payer reimbursement and timely billing. This role involves researching, analyzing, and appropriately resolving rejected claims by collaborating with national Medicare D plans, third-party insurance companies, and state Medicaid plans. You will work diligently to adhere to critical deadlines and eliminate financial risks associated with rejected claims.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of rejected pharmacy claims
• Research, analyze, and resolve rejected claims
• Ensure approval of claims through appropriate edits and reversals
• Monitor and resolve at-risk revenue associated with billing processes
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve payer/billing trends and issues
• Review and address billing exception reports
• Prepare and maintain reports and records
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Shift: Monday - Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (If working on Saturday, a weekday off will be provided)
Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy technician experience
• Experience in long-term care (LTC) is a plus
• Familiarity with adjudication processes
