Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:

• Provide strategic leadership to the pharmacy team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting professional development and growth within the team.
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services into overall patient care.

Operational Oversight:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Manage inventory, procurement, and distribution of pharmaceuticals to meet patient needs.

Clinical Services:

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management and patient outcomes.
• Implement and oversee clinical programs that enhance patient safety and improve medication-related outcomes.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage the pharmacy budget, ensuring financial sustainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost containment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of pharmacy services.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in the state of New Mexico
• 3 years of pharmacy management experience
• Hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
