We are a Managed Service Provider with multiple locations and are looking for a hands-on, technically proficient, and enthusiastic IT sales professional.
What you will be doing:
The successful candidate generates IT (information technology) sales and business, develops relationships with new and existing clients, makes sales visits and presentations, maintains advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals.
Manage business accounts to ensure that clients are receiving the services they are paying for and understand the value of our services.
Reach out to local and nearby businesses in-person and through cold calling to build relationships.
Develops and expands a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing.
Follows up on leads, providing presales IT support and guidance as needed.
Utilizes email marketing, sales automation tools to nurture lead generation.
Assesses client IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages.
Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service, and combination packages to clients.
Demonstrates IT equipment to highlight product benefits.
Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients.
Provides technical advice after sales.
Becomes fluent in all products and services offered through testing, demonstrations, and research.
Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services.
Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products.
Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales.
Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales.
Works with technology manufacturers, software manufacturers, IT consultants, and technology solutions organizations.
What you will need to have, know, and/or learn very quickly:
Previous sales experience preferred
Willingness to learn more about products

Develop knowledge of Business Analytics/Visualization software
Travel to meet with prospective and existing clients is essential to this position, so you should have a very reliable means of transportation. Travel will be within 50 miles.
