Royal Screw Machine Products Company is Hiring an Utility Worker Near Bristol, CT

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Utility Worker to join our team. As a Shop Utility Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This is a vital role that ensures the smooth functioning of our operations.

Duties:
- Assist with general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas, factory, and industrial equipment
- Ensures equipment is free of grease, oil, residue, and other materials
- Clean floors around machinery and shop floor
- Clean parts to ensure they are free of debris, oil, and residue using applicable cleaning solvents
- Metal spinning as necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish tasks effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a work environment
