Floater/Assistant Teacher

*We are hiring 1 full time position for the hours of 9:30am - 6:00pm

*We are hiring 1 part time position for the hours of 7:00am - 12:30pm

Job Summary

Our teachers are responsible for providing early childhood education to children from twenty-four months up to five years of age in a Christian environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a busy classroom environment, and provide the structure and discipline required for successful learning for everyone in the classroom.
• Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and other supplementary assistance.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create an optimal learning and care environment.
• Address basic interpersonal skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and asking permission in the classroom.
• Assisting teachers in their classrooms. You will float between classrooms and help where needed.
• Help keep the rooms clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications

• Proof of High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a childcare setting.
• Familiarity with classroom management skills and Kentucky regulations.
• Willing to complete professional development training to stay compliant with Kentucky regulations.

Preferred Training/Education

• 1-3 Years in Early Childhood
• Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
