Summary
Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
An Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and therefore must possess strong teamwork and trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, using a windows-based computer system. This role will also help to oversee our Security team. An ability to ask great questions, a growth mindset and a willingness to stick to the problem until a solution is found will determine candidate success. A minimum of 4 years building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills, and a willingness to help train members of the team on Hyatt standards and expectations.
Engineering Supervisors must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications
A minimum of 4 years building maintenance experience is required
Strong working knowledge of all major building systems is required, including, but not limited to:
HVAC
Plumbing
Electrical
Mechanical
Pool & Spa Equipment
Kitchen & Laundry Equipment
Life Safety Equipment
Customer Service skills are also required, as you will need to respond to guest calls and interact with guests and employees in a professional manner.
Previous supervisory experience is preferred, but will train the right candidate.
Work in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
Basic computer knowledge such as Microsoft Word, Excel programs and email
Ability to walk long distances and work outside for extended periods of time
Must have the ability to perform physical labor (including, but not limited to, the ability to bend, twist, stoop, lift 50 lbs., as well as climb a ladder).
Flexibility and willingness to work as the demands of business dictates.
