Royal Oak Enterprises, LLC is Hiring a Senior CPU Analyst Near Roswell, GA

In addition, the Company also manufactures railroad cross ties, which strengthens our relationship with our suppliers in the charcoal business. We offer a full suite of grilling products including charcoal briquettes, all-natural lump charcoal, fire starters along with the Pine Mountain fire building brand, the Diamond brand, and the Specialty Wood Products brand.

Position Summary:

To lead and coordinate Royal Oak's Customer Pick Up (CPU) orders across all products and customers. This newly created role will work cross functionally with sales, customer service, warehouse team, supply and logistics. Ensuring on time and in full delivery to our customers is key to success while implementing better processes internally to save Royal Oak time and money.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead point of contact for CPU (Customer Pick Up) in the Royal Oak organization.
  • Oversee and train Royal Oak warehouse teams across all Royal Oak CPU customers SME regarding routing, loading, shipping, and compliance processes - Drive this knowledge through the organization.
  • Ensure execution through aggressive daily oversight and leadership.
  • Work closely with Customer Teams and Supply chain to realign lanes to be more efficient and cost effective.
  • Serve as the key customer and carrier contact for shipping escalation.
  • Work upstream with customer teams (sales) to drive compliance of Royal Oak's scheduling processes.
  • Coordination with logistics team in the area of product transfers to ensure product is available for customer pickup. If necessary, work with the customer manipulating PO ship dates to drive OTIF.
  • Fill Rate and On Time reporting where possible.
  • Record Cost of Failure, aggregate reporting and develop best in class solutions.
  • Develop relationships with customer regional operations sites and 3rd party carriers and connect with Royal Oak stakeholders.
  • Manage and update purchase orders within the season driving out congestion and improving capacity.
  • Accelerate purchase order shipment when necessary in order to achieve seasonal inventory goals. 

To thrive in this role, you must:

  • Be the expert in CPU.
  • Understand the ins and outs of Royal Oak and the customer's ordering and CPU process.
  • Spend time in the Royal Oak warehouses and build strong relationships with the teams.
  • Effectively communicate across multiple stakeholders to get things done - with the focus being on time and in full for the customer.
  • Work across the organization and bring team members together to find solutions.
  • Be able to train the warehouse team effectively to ensure the customer CPU process is followed.

Education:

  • B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or similar transferable experienc

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Travel up to 50% 1st 6 months; up to 25% once past the 1st 6 months.
  • Ability work in a high energy, team environment.
  • Casual office environment.
