Royal Health Group is looking for a motivated, passionate ADON/Infection Control Nurse to join their team at Royal Cotuit!
ABOUT THE COMPANY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assures all necessary mandatory education related to fire safety, infection control, resident rights, hazard communication, safety issues, dementia training and policy and procedure are up to date
Schedules mandatory in-services on a rotating basis
Assists in developing, implementing and conducting relevant in-service training programs and staff-based competencies
Completes patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff, following up on work results
Establishes a positive work environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests
Provides staff education & development for new hires and on-going competencies
Ensures complete and prompt reporting on incidents with follow up as necessary
Ensures that significant changes in residents' condition are communicated to the physician, family or responsible party
Assist with tracking & administration of staff and resident immunizations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently licensed as an LPN or RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Minimum 1-year LTC experience as Staff Development Coordinator
Experience with dementia/geriatric psychiatric background preferred
CPR certification
1 or more years of experience in nurse leadership in a long-term care setting
Knowledge of state and federal regulations
