Royal Fresh Cuts is Hiring a Warehouse/Shipping Supervisor -1st Shift Near Atlanta, GA

JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Warehouse

CLASSIFICATION: Salary; Exempt

REPORTS TO: Warehouse/Shipping Manager or Director

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our two warehouse facilities. The warehouse supervisor will lead a team including lead(s) and supporting hourly staff, manage receiving, put-away, and shipment processes for finished products. Your role will also involve ensuring safety protocols, implementing WMS ERP systems, supporting production and inventory activities, and managing cross docks, and intercompany transfers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead and supervise a team of lead(s) and hourly warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage touchpoint processes for finished products ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working conditions.
  • Oversee the rollout and implementation of WMS & ERP software
  • Support production activities by coordinating with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Manage inventory levels and accuracy, conduct regular inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Handle cross docks, intercompany, and sister company transfers, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external partners to facilitate workflow.
  • Motivate and develop team members, providing training and coaching as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation related to warehouse operations.
  • Ensure food safety controls are in place and working to mitigate/eliminate food safety risks
  • Ensure all SOP's are being followed
  • Where processes do not exist, work with leadership to develop and implement effective process steps and procedures
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained at optimal levels, reporting any issues immediately to management
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent execution in all aspects of warehouse functions
  • Monitor quality of services provided to both internal and external customers
  • Set-up and maintain warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Manage stock rotation, inventory controls, and inventory reconciliation in the Warehouse Management System
  • Monitor warehouse costs maximizing productivity, balancing and mitigating overtime
  • Collect and analyze key performance indicator (KPI) data to determine how best to improve the warehouse processes, and validate and maintain warehouse KPI's
  • Ensure proper staffing seasonally, weekly, and daily to maximize warehouse capacity; coach and motivate staff
  • Monitor attendance by ensuring supervisors track daily attendance, tardiness, early outs, and absentees; ensure supervisors or leads are tracking points
  • Perform all coaching, counseling, and discipline of staff as necessary
  • Other job duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Preferred Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, logistics, or supply chain
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Certification in warehouse management or logistics courses

Required Attributes:

  • Three years first-line leadership experience, preferably in a warehouse environment
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, shipment, and inventory management.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on safety, accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team towards achieving common goals.

INTER-RELATIONSHIPS:

Will have contact with all levels ownership, management, and staff within the company

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Open availability to work weekends and evenings as necessary, ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed, work under diverse temperatures from ambient to refrigerated
