Summary

Excellent opportunity for someone interested in autistic individuals! You will be exposed to working with professional therapists and work 1-on-1. Ideal for an ambitious person aspiring to become an BCBA, ABA therapist or study psychology, special education, or a related field. Looking for a DSP (20 years old) to work in our home with our non-verbal 23-year-old son with autism. The main goal of the work is caring for his well-being, show him the wonders of our world using natural opportunities, increasing his communication skills and level of independence.

Responsibilities:

•Engage in activities/listening/conversation

•Teach functional communication and daily living skills

•Facilitate participation in recreational activities

•General supervision

•Basic food and material preparations

•Ensure safe, healthy and clean living environment .

Requirements:

•At least 20 years old with physical stamina (ability to lift 50 lbs), quick moving

•Experience with the Autism population, good hearted, and strong dedication

•Interested in learning and learning Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

•Valid driving license and have car and car insurance

•Work authorization in the USA

•Verifiable work references
