Royal Caringhands is seeking individuals that are people oriented and function well under a stressful atmosphere helping persons with some day-to-day living challenges.

Direct Support Staff position (DSS) serve individuals with intellectual and/or mental disabilities in a group home setting so they can live a self-fulfilling life within the community.

Responsibilities include:

• Encouraging participation in daily living activities both in-home and in the community
• Accompanying individuals during organized community outings and shopping
• Providing for the direct care, safety and well being of person served
• Personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, housekeeping tasks and documentation
• Completing care plans, assigned duties and responsibilities
• Assisting individuals to achieve their physical, mental, social, recreational and cognitive needs

Schedule: Full-time and Part-Time available: Mornings, Evenings, Overnight and Weekend shifts

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license and/or ability to commute to work
• The ability to pass a background check
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Individuals with willingness to work hard and with desire to help others, without experience Will Be Trained!

Pay Offered: $18 to $20/hr - Depending On Qualifications and Experience!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
