Rox Services is Hiring an Entry-Level Commercial Foodservice Equipment Service Technician Near Beaverton, OR

Job Description:

Position Summary: As an Entry-Level Commercial Foodservice Equipment Service Technician at Rox Services LLC, you will be part of a team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Commercial Foodservice Equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field and develop your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training: Participate in training programs and on-the-job training to become proficient in the repair and maintenance of commercial foodservice equipment, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and more.
  • Equipment Diagnosis: Assist senior technicians in diagnosing equipment issues, troubleshooting problems, and performing necessary repairs.
  • Maintenance: Assist with routine equipment maintenance, including cleaning, calibration, and parts replacement to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of service and repair activities, including work orders, service reports, and parts used.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, providing information about the service process and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Safety: Adhere to safety procedures, including the proper handling of tools and equipment, and follow safety guidelines while working on commercial foodservice equipment.
  • Professional Development: Continuously learn and develop your technical skills in commercial foodservice equipment repair through on-the-job training and additional training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training or certification in a related field is a plus).
  • Entry-level candidates with limited or no experience are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and grow in a technical field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
