Rowley Company is Hiring a PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE Near Dallas, TX

Reports To: Shade Production Manager
Department: Elements Shade Production
Location: Dallas, TX
The production associate will be preforming a variety of assembly tasks. Mounting precut fabric on to rollers, hemming/sealing ends with proper equipment, clutching and final inspection of product according to company guide lines: Material handling: Running assorted machinery
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Must be able to read, write, add, multiply, count
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must possess enough confidence to stand on your own when handling problems
- Must be willing to ask for assistance when needed
- Must be able to take constructive criticism
- Must be able to keep work area clean and be aware of a safe work environment
- Must be flexible in job functions as needed
- Must be able and willing to cross-train to other areas as needed
- Will frequently perform repetitive motions
- Be able to frequently lift shades
- Be able to lift up to 75lbs with assistance
- May frequently perform repetitive motions of standing, walking and lifting
- Will require use of power tools
Qualifications
- Must take pride in workmanship
- Attention to detail
- Read and follow work order
- Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
- Effective communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written
- Must be able to work well with others as a team as well as work independently
- Must be able to comprehend and perform all work assignments accurately
- Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Basic warehouse and inventory skills
- Willingness to work and learn new things
Physical Demands / Work Environment
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 75 lbs. with assistance move materials using a pallet jack
- Must be able to report to work during specified work hours
- Requires continuous standing and walking and may frequently perform repetitive motions
- Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment
