Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney for our client, a well-established law firm in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in casualty and general liability, but will consider other areas of practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, analysis and draft legal documents.
- Conduct depositions, draft and argue motions, and attend court hearings.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurers.
- Participate in firm marketing and business development activities.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies.
Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania bar.
- 2-5 years of experience in casualty and/or general liability, but will highly consider other areas of practice as well.
- Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
