Rowe's IGA Supermarkets is Hiring a BAKERY ASSOCIATE (Dunn Ave) Near Jacksonville, FL
- Provide exceptional customer service including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
- Fill and take special orders from customers
- Operate scales, and other bakery equipment.
- Receives, stores, stocks, maintains, and rotates bakery products and displays
- Confirms pricing accuracy, country of origin, and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad items
- Maintains high standards of sanitation and freshness
- Assists in other duties as assigned.
- Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
- Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work well with others and work well as a team
- Continually strives to be product minded, customer minded, personnel minded, detailed, consistent and forward focused
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- A passion for serving others
- Cake decorations skills
- Prior experience is preferred
