38 Max Salary Salary Type Annual FLSA NE Non-Exempt Position Type : Staff Position Summary : Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a Facilities Services Technician III who will perform skilled maintenance, repair and construction of HVAC (with an emphasis on Geo-Thermal systems), plumbing, and electrical systems, and building structures.

This position will primarily be located on our South Campus. Required Education / Experience :

• High School Diploma / G.E.D.
• at least 5 years experience in the field

Preferred Education / Experience / Skills :

• emphasis on HVAC and Geo-Thermal systems strongly preferred
• Degree / certificates in one of the following disciplines is preferredelectricalplumbingHVAC
• Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Knowledge of : Applicable system maintenance, repair and installation principles and methods;
• Equipment operating and maintenance techniques; Construction and maintenance principles; Record-keeping principles; Safety procedures;

Computers and related software applications.

Skill in : Building, repairing, and maintaining facility structures; Identifying and repairing / replacing unsafe equipment;

Maintaining records and logs; Using a computer and related software applications; Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with subordinates, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc.
