Position Available: Logistics Coordinator, Customer Final Mile Support

Location: Vancouver, BC

Role Overview:

Rove Concepts is currently on the search for a Logistics Coordinator, Customer Final Mile Support to join our growing team. We are looking for a meticulous individual with an enthusiastic and motivated personality to help our business grow.

With great exposure to much of the business' operations, the successful candidate will receive a deepened knowledge and understanding of the logistics and supply chain side of the business. Kindly note that our operations are 7 days a week, including public holidays and weekends, all candidates are considered on open availability. For this position, candidates will be considered on availability to work from Sunday to Thursday 8.30am-5pm PST.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate internally, as well as externally with partners, in shipping orders out and day-to-day tasks related to the department
  • Handle customers’ inquiries via emails, phone calls, live chats 
  • Liaise between customers, the customer care team members and carrier representatives on individual files to resolve any shipping issues and/or inquiries
  • Work and follow up with carriers to determine estimated shipping times and dates and relay them to related parties
  • Ensuring customers, customer service team and logistics partners have a quick response time by staying on top of your assigned tickets, with same-day ticket review.
  • Demonstrating conflict resolution and interpersonal skills in order to help the customers and customer service team find the best solutions for the customers
  • Be the in-house go-to person for the Logistics team regarding processes and procedures
  • Assist in documentation and organization of departmental information
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, including resolving inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction, with previous experience in customer service roles preferred
  • Other ad hoc duties may apply

What You’ll Need:

  • 2 year in customer service and/or in an office environment
  • A post-secondary degree, certificate, diploma or equivalent; concentration in transportation logistics, operations or similar as an asset
  • An interest in Logistics of an eCommerce business;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extreme detail-orientation and great multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Able to analyze data, utilize problem-solving skills, and recommend solutions
  • Able to balance being self-managed and being part of a team
  • Personal interest in the furniture or design industry an asset
