Route 65 Harley-Davidson is looking for an experienced service tecnician to join our team. A Service Tech is responsible for meticulously servicing, repairing, and customizing Harley-Davidson motorcycles, ensuring good employee relations, and completing required service records. Harley-Davidson or powersports experience is preferred but not required for this position.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Service department manager in maintaining a smooth-running efficient service department with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
• Note problems accurately, and clearly describe them on the repair order.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
• Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.
• Follow procedures for quick and efficient handling of warranty items, including tagging and proper storage of these items.
• Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for service and parts management.

Retail hours include Tuesday to Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Saturday hours are expected.

Qualifications
- Automotive diagnostics, Mechanical knowledge, Hand tools, Vehicle maintenance, Brake repair, Assembly, Power tools, and Mechanic experience are essential core skills for this role.
- Premium skills such as Dealership experience and Service technician experience are highly valued.
- Customer service, Soldering, Suspension, Heavy lifting, Sales, Automotive repair are relevant skills that can enhance your application.
- Possessing a valid Driver's License is required for this position.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively are key qualifications for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
