Roughing It In Style is looking for the right person to join our Sales Team. Our Sales Team Members work directly with our clients to help them discover furnishings and accessories aimed at creating beautiful and comfortable living spaces. The ideal candidate will have previous general sales and customer service experience paired with a passion for home décor.

Roughing It is a retail store and interior design service provider focused on customer experience, unique quality-built products, customization,& creativity.

Duties and responsibilities

• Furniture and accessory sales and service with a focus on long term customer relationships
• Salesfloor coverage and general sales
• Collaborate with other team members to help facilitate sales
• Guiding clients through the entire pre-sale, purchase, and post-sale cycles
• Point of Sale and inventory activities
• Constantly increasing knowledge in product lines, new design trends, and sales techniques
• Showroom and merchandise display design and upkeep

Qualifications

• 3 years of sales and customer service experience Preferred
• High-level interpersonal communication skills
• Motivated and results-driven
• Ability to manage and follow up on multiple projects while prioritizing effectively
• Team player
• Coachable and open to direction and learning
• Strong drive for success founded on a positive outlook
• Comfort with computers, Microsoft Office, and email

Schedule

• This position is non-commission and entails, on average, 40 hours per week.
• Two weekends per month are necessary as well. (Included in the 40 hours)

Working Conditions/Physical requirements

• Applicant must be able to lift 25-35 lbs. in the course of daily furniture and accessory showroom display and customer service activities.
