· You will have the opportunity to provide individual, relationship, family and group sessions and will be required to meet for supervision and administrative meetings.

· You will be using an electronic note taking and billing program and must be comfortable with technology.

· Compensation is based on experience.

The ideal candidate:

· Is interested in in-depth psychotherapy with a strong psychodynamic/psychoanalytic bent, though can be interested in utilizing any other modalities.

· Is thoughtful clinically and in an ongoing process to deepen your thinking about the social structures that are unjustly in place and influence our psyches.

· Is a go-getter, ambitious, and flexible, as you will be learning how to build your practice.

· Has great therapeutic instincts; it is fine to be a beginner, but must have good developmental understanding, psychodynamic diagnostic curiosity and have strong empathic skills.

· Has some areas of interest (i.e., niches) and are passionate about this work.

· Able to conduct video sessions and in person sessions unless there are barriers to meeting in person.

· Able to commit to two years and full-time work.

· This position is available to MHC’s who need hours and/or Limited Permit only. Sorry, no LMSW, MFT’s and LCAT candidates because of licensure restrictions from the state.

· Working in this position you will be building your caseload one case at a time. You will be paid hourly. Please carefully consider this financial element. And we can discuss further how the practice can help during case buildup time.

· This position is open to people who do not have any hours toward their license yet; a small amount of hours incurred, may also be considered on an application

· While working in this practice full time you may have other sources of income but not work as a therapist elsewhere in order to prevent burnout and more

Pay: $35.00 - $85.00 per hour
