Roto Rooter is Hiring a Collections Specialist Near Livonia, MI

AR Collections Specialist

$16-$22 hourly

Roto-Rooter is looking for a unique individual to join our team as a full-time AR Collections Specialist.

**Primary hours will be Monday to Friday 8a-5p

**Salary based on experience and skill set

The selected candidate will have a strong background in AR collections along with excellent problem solving and customer service skills.

Essential functions of the position include:

  • Contact customers to ensure they have received their invoice and communicate terms of payment.
  • Experience as a bill collector
  • Talk to insurance companies for follow up on payments.
  • Ensure accuracy of invoice.
  • Monitor payment status of all completed jobs.
  • Contact customers with delinquent accounts.
  • Secure payment of invoice.
  • Complete reports and update the General Manager on status of AR’s.
  • Enter information into PCSMS.
  • Ensure AR processes are followed.
  • Self-starter who is organized, thorough with attention to detail & follow-up and thrives in a fast- paced environment.
  • AR experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential along with a working knowledge of various software programs.
