Position Summary: Rotex, a world leader in industrial separation equipment, is seeking to fill a position for a Development Engineer in our Product Development group at our Cincinnati, OH plant. The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for developing new products that support the Rotex business strategy. This person will utilize the product development stage gate process to meet delivery commitments and bring new products to market in a timely manner. Relocation assistance may be available for this role for candidates outside of the Cincinnati metro. What you’ll do: Leads new product development projects utilizing the Rotex stage gate process. Executes stage tasks and gate deliverables on time. Coordinates efforts across multiple functional areas. Identifies critical design process steps that lack proper documentation and leads efforts to create the necessary materials for the organization. Prepares and delivers technical presentations to customers. Interfaces with suppliers and customers on negotiations Other duties may be assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in an engineering discipline; and a minimum of 4 years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in product design/development.
