Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Perform night audit duties as required
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or hotel management degree is an advantage
