Legal Intake Specialist for a Criminal Defense Law Firm

Our rapidly expanding criminal defense law firm is looking for the next top talent to join a team devoted to providing the best legal service possible to our South Florida community. Your primary responsibility will be answering phones, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating client intake. We view this position as vital to our growth as the premier criminal defense law firm in South Florida.

$38,000 - $43,000

The person we hire will have great time management skills. This job will require all of the following:

• Greeting clients and visitors, both by telephone and in-person, and scheduling appointments in a friendly and professional manner (we consider ourselves the Ritz Carlton of Criminal Defense lawyers)
• Processing client intake paperwork in our case management system
• Oversee the smooth transition of new cases to the legal team
• Follow up with potential new clients who have not yet retained the firm
• Maintain a tracking system to monitor leads, new clients, and referral sources
• Treat a call or meeting at 4:30 on a Friday (or the weekend) with the same care and compassion as one on a Monday morning
• Convey confidence and show empathy to our new potential clients who contact us by phone, web form, or live chat
• Participate in weekly department meetings, and maintain KPIs, data, and metrics
• Assist in the collection of payments from clients

• Ability to understand the sales process and how intake plays a vital role in that process
• Exceptional English speaking skills and communication
• Fluency in Spanis is a plus
• Exceptional computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
• Must be a tough person who is curious and wants to get better every day
• Self-starter who takes initiative.
