Summary:

Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and testing products to ensure production standards are met.

Job Function/Responsibilities/Primary Duties:

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on parts and products, including but not limited to

• Examines items for defects in materials and workmanship.

• Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according

precision measuring instruments and devices.

• Assist with Non-Conformances from origination through completion and making sure all information is

• Assist Purchasing with supplier Non-Conformances.

• Maintain and file Quality Documents.

• Perform Return Material Authorization (RMA) inspections for customer returns. Document and disposition

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• A hands-on approach that encourages improvement.

• High attention to detail

• Must be able to read and comprehend prints with geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)

• Must have knowledge and understanding of measuring tools for product inspection.

• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions

given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

• Basic Shop Math, ability to work with fractions, etc.

• Computer Skills, ability to use MS Windows and operating systems.

• Must be able to work in various positions, including but not limited to stooping, standing, bending, sitting,

• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.

• Must successfully pass background check and drug test.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Education & Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working in Manufacturing or Production environment preferred.

• Vocational school or equivalent training preferred but not required.

Position is full time with full benefits package.

Typical work schedule is M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with availability for OT when requested or required.
