We are seeking a full-time Accounting Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk for Retail and Automotive accounts. Our ideal candidate will also be able to assist or work independently in carrying out the responsibilities and duties listed below.

Responsibilities and duties include the following:

• Post receipts and prepare bank deposits, and credit card deposits for retail and & Automotive accounts
• Invoice and submit billings for various items
• Accounting and account analysis
• Bank and Balance sheet account reconciliations
• File monthly sales tax and use tax reports
• File quarterly and annual CAT tax reports
• Prepare month end/Year end journal entries
• Post monthly rent charges to tenant ledgers
• Prepare annual tenant CAM,INS,RET reconciliations
• Various other accounting functions
• Yardi, CDK and Ceridian knowledge is a requirement
• Pulls vehicle invoices and check for accuracy on customer accounts.
• Act as a representative for our vendors and manage all new vendor accounts.
• Processes payroll through Ceridian; set up new employees in payroll; knows the entirety of the payroll process.
• Sending out monthly receivable statements, reconciles statements, and follows up collections as necessary.
• Post payables on a daily basis
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word)
