Ross Animal Hospital & Rehabilitation Center is Hiring a Kennel Technician Near Covington, GA

We are looking for a FULL TIME & PART TIME Kennel attendant with 2 years prior kennel experience.

(The definition of kennel experience is working at a vet's office in a kennel, boarding facility or at a human society. If you have a couple dogs and you crate them at night, this is NOT the definition of kennel experience)

What the job may entail:

With being a hospital there is a lot of cleaning involved. We are looking for individuals that are extremely hard working and have an attention to detail.

  • Cleaning
  • Walking dogs
  • Cleaning
  • Feeding, watering dogs and cats
  • Cleaning dog kennels and cat condos multiple times a day
  • Sweeping/ vacuuming/ mopping the hospital multiple times a day
  • Poop scooping outside
  • Cleaning 4 bathrooms
  • Cleaning exam rooms between each client
  • Weekly deep cleaning of the hospital
  • Bathing dogs and cats, trimming nails, cleaning ears, expressing anal glands
  • Assisting in the exam rooms
  • A LOT OF CLEANING, can not stress this enough, this is more cleaning than working with animals.

Clinic Hours are M-T-Th-F 7 AM- 5 PM currently, Wednesday 7am-3pm. Must be able to working within these hours.

There are also very short shifts (1-2 hours) for Saturday evening, Sunday morning, and Sunday evening. Rotating weekend shifts. So rotating weekends is required of this position.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
