Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Live-In Caregivers. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain client confidentiality
- Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or dementia is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow care plans and systems
- First aid certification is desirable
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
