Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Person and Back-Up Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers' locations. This position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders by comparing them with relevant documents
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Report any issues or incidents encountered during deliveries to the supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role with a 26 foot box truck.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to safe driving and material handling

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 7am-3:30pm (Some longer hours occasionally)
· Ability to pass a drug screening test (no cannabis testing)
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The delivery staff is responsible for organizing, loading, and unloading trucks for restaurant equipment and supply deliveries. They ride along with the delivery driver and assist with daily deliveries. They also serve as the backup driver so experience driving a 26-foot box truck is needed.
When not making deliveries, this position will help prepare equipment for future deliveries, put equipment away, loading and unloading trucks, and putting merchandise away as needed.
