Job Summary: At Roseburg El Dorado MDF, Millwrights play a critical role in maintaining our operational excellence. They are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of various machinery, including engines, electrical systems, and fluid power systems. With expertise in power transmission, precision alignment, and welding, they ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production machines and facilities. Key Responsibilities

Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
Demonstrates ability in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing:
Gasoline and diesel engines, including drive train components.
Automotive electrical systems.
LP gas systems (preferred, not mandatory).
Fluid and power systems.
Must possess expertise in power transmission devices and precision alignment.
Requires fabrication and welding experience, with the ability to perform timely and efficient repairs to production machines.
Commitment to working safely and effectively within a team environment.
Performs precision and preventive maintenance on mill equipment, including inspections and activities (lubrication and preventive maintenance plans) on equipment and building systems to ensure operational reliability.
Assists in planning repair work using drawings, equipment manuals, or field research.
Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the mill facility.
Operates mobile equipment (training provided).

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience in a basic manufacturing/industrial environment.
Experience with work orders, working with vendors, and researching parts.
Maintains high quality and productivity standards per requirements.
Understands and adheres to prescribed safety procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Experience in maintaining a fleet of rolling stock in running condition.
Eagerness to learn new technologies as directed.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree or vocational certificate in manufacturing operations or a related field.
