The most successful candidate for this position:

  • Has at least 6 months experience in the long-term care OR rehab setting

  • Embraces our person-centered care approach to meet each resident's needs and preferences

  • Possesses a true passion for excellence in nursing care

  • Demonstrates the ability to remain calm and perform effectively during peak periods of activity and emergency situations

  • Effectively interacts with residents, their family members, and the healthcare team members

The responsibilities & duties:

  • In coordination with the healthcare team, assesses, plans, directs, evaluates, and modifies each resident's care plan to meet with his/her physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs

  • Manage emergency situations in a prompt, precise, and professional manner

  • Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records

  • Completes medication administration and treatment needs for all assigned residents

The Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Registered Nursing license for the state of Pennsylvania upon hire
