Job Description

***Only qualified Pharmacy Technician candidates located in the King of Prussia, PA area will be considered due to the position requiring a 100% onsite presence***

As a Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. You will support a variety of functions including (but not limited to) receiving, inventory management and packaging of medications. Our approach to training will enable you to grow your skillsets.

Education and Experience:

• Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
• No Pharmacy Certification/License required for PA
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry preferred
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

The client, a Health Company, provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. The King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, location is one of the larger locations in the country.

This site operates 24x7 serving a large number of facilities in addition to providing seamless support to other client locations. Although these pharmacies are not open to the public, you’ll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company’s mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.

Pharmacy Technician Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations that could include: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Emergency Kit Preparation, Restocking Automation and Machine Packaging
• Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock
• Performing physical inventories of medication
• Cycle count the drugs who’s on hand quantities need to be verified
