Job Description

Required Experience:

• Knowledge of child nutrition programs and/or farm to school, principles and practices
• Development and dissemination of training materials
• Community outreach
• Skilled in communicating effectively; both verbally

This position seeks an individual to assist the Nutrition Specialists in the Child Nutrition Program, school districts, child care centers, adult care centers, community organizations, wellness coalitions and food service management companies to further the Farm to Child Nutrition Program efforts.

Scope of Work:

• Responsibilities will include supporting the Farm to Child Nutrition Program Consultant and other Farm to School Network members
• Collaborating with community partners on farm to school efforts
• Development and dissemination of training materials, outreach communications, and resources.
• Priorities will be guided by the Farm to Child Nutrition Program Consultant.
