Job Description

***Only qualified Manufacturing Validation Engineer candidates located in the Kalamazoo, MI area will be considered due to the position requiring a 100% onsite presence***

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Layout Experience

• Equipment Validation

• AutoCAD

• MS Project

• Minimum of 2 years, 3 or more preferred experience

Our client is an American multinational medical technologies corporation based in Kalamazoo, Michigan and has 29 office locations located throughout the US. They offer innovative products and services in Medical and Surgical, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes. The client’s products include implants used in joint replacement and trauma surgeries; surgical equipment and surgical navigation systems; endoscopic and communications systems; patient handling and emergency medical equipment; neurosurgical, neurovascular and spinal devices; as well as other medical device products used in a variety of medical specialties.

Manufacturing Validation Engineer Duties:

• One Candidate will be primarily focused on Laser Marking updates on multiple products

• Second Candidate will be primarily be responsible for Validating the Software/Applications for the production Equipment

• Designs, validates and brings new products to market

• Specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce final designs; and evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety

• Designs, develops, executes and evaluates fitness-for-use testing, product specifications and process validation plans; creates and reviews material part specifications and bills of materials

• Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability

• Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings
