Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues. May require a bachelor''s degree in a related area and with eight or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with expert concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
