Title : Case Initiation Specialist

Location : Jefferson City, MO -65109

Duration : 06 months

Assess cases through contract / project systems, and appropriate internet resources to obtain relevant case information required to take action (locate, paternity, establishment, enforcement, etc.

and takes appropriate legal case actions within appropriate Federal, State and contractual time frames.

• Assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to telephone calls and written customer inquiries within required time frames.
• Ensure timely completion of priority referrals.
• Consistent use of discretion and judgment to analyze, interpret data, and decide what actions are necessary based on the varying facts and circumstances of each individual case.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

• One year of data entry / customer service experience required. Experience in child support enforcement preferred
• Ability to read and interpret complex court orders, income assignments and other child support documentation
• Ability to process large quantities of data and accurately enter data into multiple systems
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft WORD, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
