Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings such as PICU, medical-surgical, geriatrics, hospital medicine, and possess a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Help with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Keep accurate records of care provided

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Personal Care Assistant or Caregiver
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to adapt to different healthcare settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
