Rosanova Eye: Mark Rosanova MD and Thomas Teather MD have been providing the medical and surgical eye care needs of their community for 30-40 years. After Dr Teather's 2022 retirement, Dr Rosanova commutes between the Chicagoland & Melbourne offices, specializing in: state-of-the-art LenSx Laser Assisted bespoke cataract surgery. and primary laser therapy (SLT) for glaucoma- eliminating eyedrops in 90% of patients!

PART TIME POSITION in congenial Ophthalmology Office 20-25 hours a week. Your approximate hours: Mon, Tues, Wed Thurs, Friday 8a-1230p OR 12p-430p....alternating with other front office part timer.

Medical/Dental/Ophthalmology/Optometric office reception experience a big plus. Will train self-motivated, intelligent candidates

Any kind of previous customer service experience is also helpful

Front office duties: making appointments, greeting patients and updating demographic/insurance info; answer voice mails; pt reminder calls; posting payments to our daily flow sheet; at time of visit, collecting patient due, copays, refractions; maintaining demographic spreadsheets, daily flow sheets. Electronic Medical Records, First-Insight Maximeyes ( a very intuitive, straight forward program); recall cards, marketing/mailings; other Front Office duties as needed

Must be good on computers: know Excel, Google Docs, Word.

Required: common sense, intelligence, enjoy doing a job well done. Our reception area is more like a living room than a sterile office, our patients are our guests, so MUST like people :)
