This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision or oversight of the phlebotomy team. Collects blood and checks quality of blood from donors in a safe and efficient manner and instructs others on these functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: Strongly prefer two years of phlebotomy experience.

Licensure/Certification: Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

Maintains knowledge of and complies with established policies and procedures. Includes OSHA-Blood borne Pathogen Standard, OSHA-Hazardous Chemical Communication Standard, and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act. Assures a clean and save business office, including treatment rooms, kitchen and restroom. Turns on/off computers and printers as appropriate for use.
