Job Summary: Job Summary: The Registered Pharmacy Tech assists the registered pharmacists in performing a variety of technical duties related to the preparation and distribution of drugs. The duties require knowledge of and skills in various oral and intravenous dosage forms. Duties are performed under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. # Minimum Qualifications: # Education:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is desirable. # Experience: Six months prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred. # Licensure/Certification: All technicians must register with the South Carolina State Board of Pharmacy and must renew their registration annually. State Certification from the South Carolina State Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
