Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. Duties:
- Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums
- Develop treatment plans and discuss them with patients
- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring during dental procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes
- Experience working with pediatric patients and providing age-appropriate dental care
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in using dental practice management systems for patient assessment, treatment planning, and medical documentation purposes
- Knowledge of computer-assisted design (CAD) software for creating dental restorations
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
