The Ronald McDonald House is a not-for-profit Home Away From Home® where you can make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children and their families. We are seeking a caring individual to work 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Sundays through Thursdays, including holidays. The Evening Janitor works under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and the House Manager. He or She will help with the daily upkeep of the household.

Our houseguests' well-being and safety are our number one priority.

The Janitorial Evening Position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and attractive facility for our houseguests. The position supports the Housekeeping/Maintenance Manager and works closely with the House Operations Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The position shall include but is not limited to the following:

· Perform daily janitorial services that include all the bathrooms, windows, trash, floors, the business office areas, backstairs, boardroom, outdoor areas, entrances and hallways.

· Work closely with maintenance team to document and respond to facility issues.

· Respond to unexpected bathroom issues in a timely manner.

· Maintain inventory of supplies and restock wish list

· Load/unload deliveries and supplies

· Communicate regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor and House Manager.

· Perform other duties and supplies as requested

· Monitor House Property perimeter to ensure doors are closed, entrances are clear for accessibility.

· Use and store cleaning supplies safely.

· At least 2 years’ experience in janitorial/housekeeping work required.

· U.S. citizen or work permit

· Valid ID

· Social Security

· Pass Background Check

· Follow dress code

· Must work holidays

This position will involve contact with the families and their children and confidentially and discretion is required.

Reliable transportation is required.

Salary commensurate with experience.
