The service department is one of the most important in the dealership. Lube technicians are responsible for vehicle maintenance and light care such as oil changes and tire rotations.

Tire and Lube Technician Responsibilities :

Specializing in quick vehicle maintenance.

Careful attention to detail and the ability to easily adapt to new technologies.

Ability to lift an excess of 50 pounds. Being physically capable of doing the job is a necessity.

Performing vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, minor repairs, and documenting all work.

Performing oil changes, maintenance and lubrication work.

Tire rotations, mounting, balancing, replacements and repairs.

Brakes / suspension routine maintenance and repairs

Communicating with service advisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period.

Inspecting and test-driving new vehicles to ensure that all features function properly.

Installing accessories on new vehicles

Lube Technician Qualifications :

Previous automotive lube technician (quick lane / express lane) experience a plus

Automotive dealership experience a plus

Excellent communication skills and ability to be a team player

Reliable and strong work ethic

Outgoing and friendly personality

Professional appearance

Valid driver's license
