Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in the food service industry. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and organizational skills. Duties: - Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during assigned shifts - Train and mentor team members on proper food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Assist in inventory control, including ordering and receiving supplies - Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise - Assist in scheduling staff and managing labor costs - Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving overall restaurant performance Requirements: - Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a leadership role such as Bartending, Assistant Manager, or Kitchen Management - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of inventory control procedures - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays If you are passionate about the hospitality industry and possess the necessary skills to excel as a Shift Leader, we would love to hear from you. Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
